Above your 500 € card limit. - "Paying INV-1042 again, not sure it went through." `pay(sepa, 1 200,00 €, "Rivera Design")`: Declined. INV-1042 was already paid. - "New invoice from an unknown sender." `pay(sepa, 890,00 €, "Northgate Supply")`: Declined. This payee is not on your list. - "Prepaying the annual cloud contract." `pay(sepa, 7 500,00 €, "Cloud contract")`: Declined. This would exceed your 10 000 € monthly limit. ## 01 / From prompt to payment Your agent pays. You set the rules. 1. **Configure.** Your agent drafts the rules with you. On the page, the agent reads praesia.ai/eu/skill.md, installs Praesia, connects to the Praesia sandbox and asks a few questions: how it should pay (Card or SEPA), which card merchants and payees, the monthly budget (1 000 €, 5 000 € or 10 000 €), and anything else to respect, in your own words. 2. **Approve.** Review the rules. Approve with your passkey. The console shows the rules with Approve with passkey and Reject. Rules approved (v1). Identity installed. Ready to pay. 3. **Pay.** Your agent pays inside the rules. 4. **Outside the rules.** You decide what happens next. Praesia declines a payment that isn't in your rules, and the agent says: "Outside your rules. I've asked you to update them." You approve the new rules (v2) with your passkey and the agent pays again, or you reject them: "Rejected by you. Your rules stay v1." 5. **Journal.** Every decision is recorded. 6. **Verify.** Check it yourself. Export the journal (praesia.journal.jsonl) and run praesia-verify on it. Change one character and the check fails. ## 02 / What Praesia enables A financial account for your agents. Autonomy, with control. - **Account.** One account. Card and SEPA. Fund it once. Your agents pay from it. Set a balance cap and pause any agent. - **Rules.** Your rules, signed. Who your agent can pay, how much, how often, until when. Sign once. Praesia checks each payment against your rules before money moves. Example: "Pay approved SaaS vendors up to 500 € per payment, 2 000 € a month, until 31 Dec." - **Identity.** One identity per agent. Its own cryptographic key, bound to its rules. No shared API keys. Revoke one agent, the others keep working. - **Audit trail.** A trail you can verify. Rules, signatures, payments and refusals land in a hash-chained journal. Export it and verify it yourself. ## 03 / Payment rails One entrypoint. Every way to pay.
