Praesia enables your AI agents with payment capabilities through all available payment rails. Then, it gives you the whole infrastructure to delegate budgets to your AI agents, to govern them at scale, and to keep a complete history of their financial actions.
Praesia brings all these capabilities through mandates, verifiable agent identities, a payment execution engine, and a sealed and verifiable journal.
No. Praesia is the governance and payment execution infrastructure for agents. Funds are held by a licensed partner.
Your agent has its own cryptographic identity living in its environment, so no one outside its environment can impersonate it. However, if the environment is compromised, the maximum loss is bounded by the agent's mandate which is known in advance. Requests outside those rules stop for your decision. Additionally, you may revoke the agent’s authority at any time. If an out-of-mandate payment is somehow executed, it would be refunded.
