Privacy Policy

When you contact us. Through our contact form: your full name, work email, company size and message. When you book a call through our scheduling provider: your name, email, notes and any guests you add. When you email us: your email address and what you write.

Server logs. When you visit praesia.ai or use the Service, our servers record your IP address, browser type, the pages you open or requests you make, and when.

When you are a customer. Account and user details, such as names and work emails. Your agents' identities and rules, including the payees you approve and the details you give us about them. Test payments and journal entries, such as amounts, payees, merchants, dates and decisions.

Payees. If a customer adds you as a payee, we receive your name and the details that customer gives us.

We use personal information to:

• answer your messages and hold the calls you book (our legitimate interest in answering you)
• provide the Service: run your account, check payments against your rules, keep your journal and help you (our contract with you, or our legitimate interest in serving our customers)
• keep praesia.ai and the Service secure and prevent fraud (our legitimate interest)
• keep records and handle complaints as the law requires (our legal obligations and legitimate interest)

You don't have to give us personal information, but without it we can't reply to you or open your account.

We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We share it with:

• service providers that host praesia.ai and the Service, help us run the sandbox and check payments, and handle our email, scheduling and video calls
• authorities or others, when the law requires it or to protect rights and safety
• a buyer or successor, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets

Our providers use personal information only on our instructions.

Our website links to our Discord server. Discord is a separate service, and its own terms and privacy policy apply there.

Some of our providers, including our hosting provider, process personal information in the United States. For these transfers, we rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision for providers certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or on the Commission's standard contractual clauses. You can ask us for a copy of these safeguards.

• Messages and calls: 3 years after our last exchange.
• Server logs: 12 months.
• Customer data, including test payments and the journal: while your account is open, then 5 years, the time limit for legal claims.

On our website, we only use the cookies the site needs to work, such as the one that remembers your choice of "United States" or "Europe" in the footer. These cookies don't need your consent. We don't use analytics or advertising cookies, and we don't let third parties track you on the site. If you click "Book a call", our scheduling provider loads and its own privacy policy applies.

In the console, we use the cookies or similar storage needed to keep you signed in and secure.

We protect personal information with measures such as encryption in transit and restricted access. If a breach affects your personal information, we'll tell you as the law requires.

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict its use, or to give it to you in a portable format. You can also object to any use based on our legitimate interest. To make a request, email contact@praesia.ai. We may need to confirm your identity, and we'll reply within one month. We may keep information that the law requires us to keep.

Under French law, you can also tell us what to do with your personal information after your death, including passing it to someone you name. Without instructions, we delete it, except what the law requires us to keep.

You can complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority, or to the authority of the country where you live or work.

We'll post any update here with a new effective date. If we make material changes, we'll email customers before they take effect.
